If you look up "well-rounded" in the dictionary, the definition would be Hannah Valdez Roberson. Or, as she prefers to be called, "wickedly talented Adele Nazeem." If you get the reference, she loves you more than musical theatre and caffeine combined (which is a pretty tall order; she’s addicted to nitro cold brew and Broadway cast recordings.)
Ever the non-traditional, Hannah received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with minors in Theatre and Scandinavian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Instead of learning Spanish and pleasing her Mexican ancestors, she studied Danish because it sounded fun. I'm sure her Indigenous ancestors would be okay with that, even if the Spanish are turning in their graves.
As a Multi-Ethnic (Mexican-American, African-American, her White grandpa says “Scotch-Irish” but that’s debatable) Woman of Color, she aims to amplify diverse voices, promote inclusivity, and push for equality throughout the entertainment industry-- whether through writing, casting, holding a boom, development, or passionate tweeting about belting show tunes.
